A celebration of Mexico’s heritage, Mago Grill & Cantina is the creation of award-winning Chefs Juan Luis Gonzalez (former head chef of Fuego Mexican Grill & Margarita Bar in Arlington Heights) and Ric Munoz. It’s original Latin and Mexican menu is comprised of authentic favorites like freshly smashed tableside guacamole, seafood ceviches, savory salsas, fresh salads. Mago’s main dishes feature steak, chicken, pork and seafood including the chef’s own Grandma Paula’s family recipes. Our menu offers all the classics: suiza-style Burritos, Enchiladas, and Fajita’s including a unique Mago-style creation served in a hot molcajete. When it comes to Tacos, Chef Juan Luis has developed a host of flavorful recipes to pick from – all promising to excite the taste buds.
Our lunch menu offers a simpler selection of traditional Mexican favorites. It includes Chef Juan’s signature taco renditions, a selection of lunch-friendly Grandma Paula’s dishes including Chilaquiles, fresh salads, and small plate picks. Several Tortas including a Jibarito sandwich and a cuban-style burger, all served with homemade chips, complete the menu.
Mago’s delectable desserts include Chocolate Molten cake, Tres Leches cake, Mexican churros and a flight of fried ice cream, to name a few.
Our Cantina shakes up refreshing margaritas and cocktails including masterfully muddled mojitos made with gin, rum or tequila plus sangria in refreshing blends of mango. For tequila lovers, the chef shares his collection of over two hundred 100% premium blue agave tequilas poured in a shot glass for sipping or freshly shaken in a host of margaritas. The Cantina menu is topped off with Mexican mezcals, cervezas and wines, along with non-alcoholic suaves.
Besides its authentic collection of Mexican dishes, Mago Grill’s atmosphere is warm and inviting with a modern twist giving way to relaxing, yet refined gatherings with family, friends and business associates alike.
